Kendall kicked off to Upton who ran twenty yards. Bowdoin gained ten yards by her close formation play but Harvard held for two downs and Bowdoin punted. Kernan gained ten yards on his return punt and J. Lawrence recovered the ball on Bowdoin's fumble. Graydon and Kendall then made a series of short plunges which took the ball to the three yard line. Kernan easily broke through left tackle and scored the first touchdown after five minutes of play. J. Lawrence kicked the goal. Daly returned the kick-off sixty yards, and Bowdoin got the ball on her thirty...

Daly was injured slightly in the first half, and Fincke took his place in the second. Sawin and Ellis were also substituted for Kernan and Graydon. Soon after the kick-off Kendall circled left end for twenty-five yards, Fincke's interference helping him greatly.
