Though nothing in particular stood out at the Cabot/Pfoho formal, guests dolled up in above-the-knee dresses and well-cut tuxes left the great white tent on Moors Terrace slightly tipsy and reasonably satisfied. Just look at Daly's Bad Boys, the thuggish band of Detroit Pistons who elbowed, kicked, brawled, their way to back-to-back NBA titles in 1989 and 1990.
