...LONDON, CONN., June 12. - Nearly the entire course for the Harvard-Yale race on the Thames has been marked by flags set at intervals of a half mile, today, by Captain Ed. Griffin, in the steamer Skip Jack, but the crews have not made use of them in speed trials yet. This morning the Harvard-Yale crews went into their boats at 10.30 and spent a couple of hours in rowing short stretches, in which the faults of the oarsmen were corrected by the coaches, and attention given to stroke and form.
