...very informative and helped correct many misconceptions about autistic children. In India, not much research on autism is under way. I fear that most of those children are taken to be mentally ill or retarded. The statistics on reported cases of autism in India may be not so grim as those in the U.S., but I feel the U.S. kids are in better hands. I just hope that researchers quickly find a solution.
