...first. For Harvard, Wrenn got his base on balls. Stevenson hit to second who put Wrenn out. Rand then hit to short who fielded Stevenson out at second. Rand stole second and scored on Highlands's two bagger. Highlands reached third on Leahy's fumble of Winslow's grounder, but was put out on trying to steal home...
...Wrenn's wild throw to first and a wild pitch let in another run in the second, and two safe hits in the third brought in one more run. Harvard made her only run in the third inning when Hayes hit safely and went to second on Whittemore's grounder, scoring on Scannell's single. Harker hit safely to right field bringing in two runs. Dayton was put out trying to steal home. Harvard failed to score...
