Usage:

There are now about thirty candidates for the 'varsity baseball nine working each day in the Cary building under the coaching of Captain Frothingham. The exercise in the cage consists in batting grounder, sliding twice a week, base running, and starting, which is done by the aid of a pitcher. The men then take a short run out of doors, after which they go to the gymnasium and there go through a dumb-bell exercise. Harvey started off the eighth for Yale by striking out. Norton and Jackson made the next two outs, both on grounders from Highlands to Dickinson. For Harvard, Cook went out on a grounder, Murphy to Jackson. Dickinson flied out to Case. Trafford hit to Norton, and made the circuit of the bases on a terribly wild throw by the latter player. Corhett got a single to right field, but was caught off the base, and this ended the inning...
