Since the Supreme Court reaffirmed the right to abortion last June, antiabortion forces eager to overturn Roe v. Wade have been watching the small island of Guam. In 1990 Guam enacted one of the nation's stiffest antiabortion laws, prohibiting all abortions except those necessary to save a pregnant woman's life or to prevent a "grave" threat to her health.
