After starting the week poorly, the Senior eleven has made considerable improvement, though the team play is still very ragged and the defense weak. The line has been strengthened by the addition of Seaver, at left tackle. Hennen, right guard, will be unable to play for a while owing to a strained shoulder, but Thayer, who has taken his place, is playing a strong game...

...through the Yale line almost at will and ran up a total score of 14 points, scoring three touchdowns against the home team, the largest score ever made on a Yale field against a Yale eleven. Yale secured no more touchdowns than did the visitors but her goal-kicker guard Cadwalader was successful in every trial for goal, while Hall, who made the attempt after the Brown touchdown, failed in all but one chance...

Stanwood at right halfback played a good game for Bowdoin. Several times he plunged through between guard and tackle for gains of seven or eight yards. His tackling also was of a high order. Gregson made the sensational play of the game. Harvard had the ball on Bowdoin's five yard line; it was given to Haughton to carry over, but he fumbled just after crossing the line. Gregson secured it and started for Harvard's goal with a clear field; he was tackled, however, and downed beautifully by Maguire on Bowdoin's thirty-five yard line. The mis-play...
