The third heat was run in slower time, Frantz of Princeton winning in 2 minutes, 2 2-5 seconds. Sanders of Columbia and Baxter of Dartmouth shut out Guild of Harvard and Mann of Yale for the other places. As a result of these trials it looks as if Pennsylvania would score the most points in the final heat, thus injuring the chances of Yale and Cornell...
