Over the past six months, the actual sales have remained within two percent of projected sales, says employee Benjamin Haas.
Stanford Business School and Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, which are both precipitously close to Silicon Valley, felt the sharpest drops--more than 20 percent since 1998.
Robert Hass '72, chair of the board and chief executive officer of Haas Wheat & Partners Incorporated, a Dallas-based investment firm, provided a gift that financed the renovation.
"We directed them to take down from the website the notes provided and to not put up any more," said Lawrence J. Haas, Yale's director of public affairs.
"Some faculty members had raised their concerns about the practice of their notes being posted without their knowledge or permission," Haas said.
