...everything on the Net was encrypted and belonged to small groups of with-it hipsters, you would never find a bargain there. You would never find much of anything. ...article "School for Hackers" [TECHNOLOGY, May 22], you referred to Manila's AMA Computer College as "a pioneer in Philippine computer education." That's not even close to the truth. Also, the AMA student alleged to be the mastermind behind the Love Bug computer virus is not a talented hacker and certainly not world class. Upon hearing about the love bug virus, I said to myself, "What a jerk that hacker must be."
