Perfect weather conditions prevailed during a race which was in doubt until the last minute. Hail of Yale finished first in a pretty race with Magoffin of Cornell, winning by 30 yards. Macdonald of Columbia was third. The time was 32 minutes 53 seconds, just one second behind the record for the course. Cornell made her score by taking second, sixth, ninth, and twelfth places.
