They once brought an organ into Watson Rink. Not a John Kiley-approved Hammond X-66, mind you, but a tinny little portable organ that squeaked out such inspiration as "Hail Bertagna" (Joe Bertagna, former Harvard goalie) and other favorites. It didn't last long, but it was amusing while it was around...

The workers and their driver were lined up against the vehicle, and the lone Roman Catholic among them was sent away. ...wait. Echoed from within the visitor's locker room and out marched 20 piping Elis, chiming away their "Hail Yales". All this song and cheer seemed more like improvisational theater than a swim meet, but the Yale tunes seemed to bring luck. The Elis came out singing "We have Overcome," as they sunk a strong Radcliffe team 80-51 last night...
