Although the game resulted in a tie, Dartmouth played the better game and gained much more ground than Harvard, especially in the first half. The University team was considerably weakened by the absence of three or four men who will play against Yale, and this partly explains the superiority of the Dartmouth team. Harvard was fortunate in coming out of the game without serious injuries.
