...YORK, May 13.--The University lacrosse team defeated Columbia this afternoon on South Field by the score of 3 goals to 1. Neither side scored in the first half. Harvard was at a disadvantage because of being unaccustomed to bare and hard grounds; and owing to the poor stick-work several chances to score were lost.
