McPhearson made the last goal for the Wanderers just after the opening of the second half. From then on they were completely outclassed by the fast concentrated attack of the University forwards. Gardner scored almost immediately, and Morgan made the next goal after he and Hornblower had carried the puck the length of the rink. Accurate shots by Hornblower and Morgan gave Gardner the chance to make the next score.
