...total number of volumes in the Loan Library is nearly 3,000. This sounds like a large number, but many, probably over half of these are out of date and the need for new books is as great as ever. The need for new books is really greater than ever, as the clothing collection last fall netted scarcely any books at all. A great deal more is expected from the collection this spring...
