Kirkland won the House swimming crown by defeating Adams yesterday afternoon, 25 to 23. Adams protested the meet when Kirkland delayed the start of the 100-yard freestyle in order to allow Hamel time to appear for the race. Hamel had an hour exam but arrived just as the race was about to begin. He won easily, but Adams representatives felt that Kirkland's delaying tactics were illegal and field a protest...
