...yesterday's practice the runners worked out under Coach Martin's direction on the cinder track in the northwest corner of Soldiers Field. Coach Farrell supervised the work of the hammer throwers and jumpers, who practiced in the field behind the southern end of the Stadium, as well as that of the shot-putters, who practiced inside.
