That Harvard has so modified it and has done so excellently is evidently unrecognized by Mr. Darrow. The present tutorial system does much to make up for the handicap under which Harvard is placed. Harvard is severely handicapped this year by a late start. Most of the other colleges have at least a two-weeks advantage over the University, while Syracuse has been having regular practice for a month.
