...Ayer, '86. The hounds in charge of Mr. White, '85, made a good chase, but were out-witted by the hares. The first four hounds, Messrs. White, Matthewson, Appleton and Robbins, came in the order named and within a few seconds of one another. Mr. Matthewson owing to his handicap drops to fourth place, and second and third prizes goes to White and Appleton respectively.
