Members of Coach Farrell's track squads were largely successful yesterday in retaining their laurels against all comers in the annual University Handicap Meet in the Stadium yesterday afternoon, ceding first place to graduate stars in only three events. Encouraged by liberal handicaps, a more than average number of new-comers to the cinderpaths competed under conditions which were ideal except for a light wind that cut down the times, but no new stars were uncovered.
