...game was wholly a pitchers' battle between Slater and Cooper, one hit only being made during the whole game. Slater did not allow a single man to reach first and struck out 15 men, while Cooper allowed but one hit and fanned 9 men. On the other hand, the Juniors were totally unable to locate Cooper, and had it not been for a couple of bases on balls, they would not have scored. The game was totally lacking in features, except the remarkable pitching on both sides...

...House Association has undertaken to conduct an information bureau this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon for the benefit of the members of the visiting teams who come to Cambridge to compete in the Intercollegiate Track Meet. Tweed, who was to catch for the Seniors, broke his hand on the third ball pitched, and was replaced by Tyson, who proved unable to hold Greene. Tyson was soon replaced by Wellington, who also did not prove very satisfactory. In the first inning the Sophomores made three runs. Currie reached first on a liner past the pitcher, which Hall failed to handle, and went to second on a bad throw. ...this year one was made up for this game. Although the University team has been practicing only two weeks, it is composed of good veteran material. W. Peirce '07, and M. L. Newhall '08 are the only new men on the team. The Yale team, on the other hand, has never played together before this year.
