...game was to a great extent a pitchers' battle between Glaze and Coburn, in which Coburn had the advantage, as he allowed only four hits and one base on balls and struck out ten men. Glaze, on the other hand, allowed five hits and struck out six men, giving five bases on balls, three of which finally resulted in runs. He weakened decidedly in the eighth inning, giving three bases on balls and allowing two hits, thus enabling Harvard to score three runs. The fielding on both sides was sharp and fast.
