...fault of overrunning his man. In interfering for a runner and in breaking up plays his work is excellent. Bowditch has been behind the other players in his development, owing to his injury early in the season, but is now getting into form. Cutts is playing a hard and spirited game and has shown considerable improvement in his playing. He is still a little slow in charging and in running with the ball, but his strength is of great advantage to the team. Blagden has shown decided improvement. From a rather unlikely candidate he has become one of the most...

...recovered from his injury received in the Brown game. He follows his interference well, and his speed is a great help on end runs. Putnam is an effective ground gainer and his persistency puts a great deal of life into the other players. Ristine is a hard and fast runner, but does not follow his interference closely enough. After the usual preliminary work, the teams went through signals for 15 minutes. Then the first and second elevens lined up for two halves of 25 and 10 minutes. In this work the second showed up strongly, holding the first twice for downs. The second scored once after being given the ball on the 15 yard line, but it took 12 downs to do this...

...been considered the best man for left halfback but it is doubtful whether he will be able to hold his place against Reynolds, a freshman. Both players have shown up well throughout the season, but Reynolds is the more brilliant and once free, his speed makes him a hard man to stop. Reynolds is also a valuable kicker, as he is quick and gets good distance from a high punt. Dale and Townsend, halfbacks, and Keller, fullback, are capable substitutes for the backfield positions. Howard, who was captain of the scrub last year, is playing quarterback. Although light...
