This game will be one of the hardest of the series, as Princeton has four veterans from last year's championship team, and has defeated Yale two games out of three during the Christmas recess. Princeton has played two games in the series so far, losing to Cornell 4 to 1 and to Dartmouth 6 to 3; but in spite of these defeats it should show up well. The University team has defeated Columbia, 5 to 0, which in turn defeated Dartmouth last night. Judging from these scores the University team should win by a small score...

...University hockey team lost the fourth game of its schedule to McGill University, of Montreal, by the score of 5 to 2 in the Boston Arena Saturday evening. The game, which is probably the hardest on the schedule, was very fast and interesting from beginning to end. The University team fought hard, but could not cope with the superiority of the Canadians in stick-work. The Harvard men were as fast on skates as their opponents and played good hockey, but met an almost impregnable defence in Cassels and Moseley. In the arrangement of the defences of the two teams...

Foster '11 outlined the work of the winter season, saying that although the relay teams would have the hardest work, there would be an excellent opportunity for individuals to get into training. Field-event men, in particular, he urged to come out in order to learn proper form before beginning the more rigorous work of the spring season. The Freshman relay team will begin practice immediately, and all men with the slightest ability ought...

...football was displayed, Yale not once attempting a forward pass or an onside kick, while Harvard with two exceptions was unsuccessful with the open play. For Harvard Wendell showed up far ahead of any of his team-mates. In addition to being the most consistent ground-gainer and the hardest man on the field to stop, he was ever alert on the defence and backed up the line in faultless fashion. Except for his fumbling Corbett played his usual dashing game, and on tackle plays showed great ability to break through the opposing line. Leslie, who played for the first...

Yesterday afternoon the University football squad was given the hardest work since the West Point game in a scrimmage with the Freshman eleven, winning by the score of 3 to 0. The substitutes then lined up for half an hour against the second team. The former scrimmage was the first opportunity this season to compare the strength of the Freshman team with that of the University squad, and, although Corbett and T. Frothingham were both absent, the University backfield experienced little difficulty in piercing the opposing line...
