That Coach Woodruff could produce from such new and apparently untried material such a team as now represents Pennsylvania is but another tribute to his ability as a coach and to the principles to which he has adhered in his treatment of the players-hard work all the time all the season, with a slight let up just before the final big games to allow the men to recover from their injuries and bruises...

Yesterday afternoon the Freshman eleven went through their last hard practice before the game with the Yale freshmen on Saturday. Most of the time was spent in coaching the line on the defensive, particular attention being paid to tackling and breaking up the end interference. After this preliminary practice the first and second eleven were run through signals. The only changes in the line-up were Burnett at left tackle, and Kendall at left halfback.
