Yesterday's practice consisted almost entirely of dummy scrimmage and signal drill. Under the driving of the coaches, the squad worked continuously at a high tension. Hardwick's punting showed great improvement, while Brickley drop-kicked goals with his usual accuracy. ...backfield in yesterday's practice consisted of Logan, at quarter, and Hardwick, Bradlee and Brickley. At left end Coolidge was in O'Brien's place, with Storer on the other end. The tackles were Withington, left, and Gilman, right; the guards were Pennock and Cowen. Trumbull was at centre. Despite the weakness evident in the left side of the line, where Hitchcock is replaced by Withington who is between two new men, this is very probably the order which will face Cornell tomorrow...

Storer again appeared at right end, with Gilman taking his place at tackle. The new combination worked with as few slips as could be expected in the first scrimmage. It was Gilman who stopped Hardwick on the 1-yard line, when the distance meant a touchdown. Captain Storer played a good but somewhat erratic game, once letting Hardwick get outside him for a 25-yard gain, but at another time throwing him behind the line for a 10-yard loss. On punts, he showed about the same speed as O'Brien in getting down under the ball...
