Lane '04 has resigned as director of the Harvard University Press, and Harold Murdock, vice-president of the National Shawmut Bank of Boston, has been chosen by the Corporation to be his successor Mr. Lane has been actively connected with the work since 1908, when he was appointed Publication Agent of the University to succeed the late John B. Williams '77, upon the death of the latter.
