Unable to stay in one place for too long, I made a brief overnight trip to Vermont, to catch some summer stock, and particularly to watch blockmate Samuel H. Perwin ’04 star as Harold Hill. So I think kids are drawn to these books because the main characters, George and Harold, get away with so much. They're always having great adventures, and the adults can't stop them. It's great escapism...
