...HARTFORD, CONN., December 7--The campaign of the student body at Trinity College against the recent ruling of the board of trustees compelling attendance at chapel collapsed yesterday when it was discovered that several star athletes would be lost to their respective teams if the undergraduate resistance continued. On Wednesday the undergraduates declared that they would suffer suspension rather than violate their ethical principles by accepting enforced attendance at religious services.
