...Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein who was responsible for Somalia's one significant piece of statesmanship in the last year. He entered into a peace deal with Somali Islamic factions that have come together under the umbrella Alliance for the Reliberation of Somalia. Somalis greeted it with a shred of hope, even though the move was mostly symbolic.
