...college tennis championship has finally been decided and Mr. Sears still retains his prestige as champion. It would have been a surprise, indeed, if after his skillful playing at New Haven Mr. Sears had been outplayed here. The tournament had the good effect of bringing out a number of young and promising players, upon whom we must depend for upholding Harvard's supremacy in tennis in the future.
