Over 200 first-year Law School men attended the reception tendered them by the Law School Society at Phillips Brooks House last night. E. D. Smith 3L., who recently resigned as president of the Society an account of ill health, presided, and introduced Professor Samuel Williston '82 as the first speaker. Professor Williston said that over 140 colleges were represented by graduates in the School this year, and that the School must therefore be made up of men of varied viewpoints.
