...time, Yale decided to do something cool and it failed? Did you know that I went to Yale once, farted, and I killed the one flower that was living there? Did you know that if you spell Yale backwards, it spells Elay, which is Turkish for butt nugget? I heard this story from a senior who graduated a couple of years back. He was talking to me about how it was before, in the time of no time. Everything was everything, as the elders once foretold it would no longer be. Chicken was egg, up was down, pizza was tree...

...This is the loudest crowd I have ever heard at a Harvard sporting event. The atmosphere rocked with a sizable number of Michigan fans and a student section that stood and screamed the entire game, resembling students at games in bigger and better conferences. An excellent performance on both ends saw the Crimson take each Wolverine blow in stride before scoring the final 11 points to win. Harvard students high on euphoria then stormed the court. ...That case is now before the Supreme Court, which heard arguments last month. On that day, both Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. and Justice Scalia indicated that they believed New Haven officials were concerned only about the test's failure to produce a desired outcome. When a lawyer representing the Federal Government told Roberts that the government would have supported tossing out the exams if the results of blacks and whites had been reversed, the Chief Justice raised a skeptical eyebrow, and Scalia said, "I don't think you'd say that." Gregory Coleman, an attorney representing the firefighters, told...

...Some climbers have said that global warming is making the hike up Everest more dangerous. Did you notice anything different this time around? In the six weeks I spent living down at base camp, I've never heard so many avalanches in every direction. Two people got killed while I was there because they tried to get up the icefall to Camp 1. They were climbing at a sensible time, like 6 a.m., before the sun was up, and still got blown out. They found one pair of boots. You need quite a lot of blast to blow somebody...
