...many first-class vaudeville acts in one evening. Cecil Lean and Cleo Mayfield entertained with several original lyrics, among which was, "when a Wife Gets Fat". Cecil Lean's caricature of a baseball fan was extremely good and should be made the leading part of the act. Sam Hearn, the fiddling politician, gave a little speech dealing more or less with politics, but at any rate keeping every one in a happy frame of mind with his witticisms.
