...with Exeter Academy at Exeter on Oct. 12. Good progress has been made by the squad so far, and from now on all coaching will be in charge of J. S. Lawrence '01, A. Winsor '02, J. D. Clark '03 and D. W. Knowlton '03. The men are mostly heavier than last year's freshmen candidates, and have already been divided into two sections, each of which is made up of four elevens. Regular work in the Gymnasium will begin today with the formation of a class in light gymnastic drill. This class will meet at 5 every afternoon, and will be under the direction of Mr. Dohs. In this way they gained no advantage from their single strong point cv-- speed, for the Senior team was the heavier, and their team work was in no way broken up by the rough playing.
