...Freshman football team was defeated by Exeter on Soldiers Field Saturday by a score of 11 to 0 in an interesting and hard-fought game. Although playing against a heavier team, the Freshmen displayed spirit and made a good showing. Exeter gained consistently outside of tackle and made several long gains on quarterback runs after a delayed pass. The Freshmen were unable to force their opponents' line until the second half and then only at times between tackle and guard.
