...First, and most importantly: extend meal hours to accommodate students' hectic schedules. In some houses, lunch is served only from 12-2, preventing students with consecutive midday classes from eating in-house until dinner. And how many of us have finished classes and meetings only to realize that it's past 7 and dinner is over? The best solution to this problem is to stagger hours: Those houses with shared kitchens can have similar hours, but that shouldn't keep Winthrop, for example, from closing one hour after Adams for lunch, or Dunster from being open for dinner until eight...
