This series is a repetition of the Hibbert lectures delivered by Professor James at Oxford last May. The course began with the exposition of the fundamental types of philosophical thinking and of monistic idealism, and proceeded to the discussion of the doctrines of the German philosophers, Hegel and Fechner, in the first four lectures.
