...Galt, secretary of the Princeton Self-Help Bureau, reports that the system inaugurated last September is thoroughly satisfactory. The students working in the Commons take real pride in doing their work well and the system of fines is not essential to insure punctuality. The men who board at the Commons are satisfied and approve of the system. The employment of additional students offsets the greater efficiency of professional waiters, and does not retard the service or increase running expenses. The students doing the work report that they become better acquainted with their classmates than they could by any other means...

...this belief that the CRIMSON has obtained the interview with Professor Lima. It is encouraging to note his optimism in regard to feasibility of the plan. "The great universities of the other countries of the southern continent as well as the Faculties of Brazil, would be anxious to help, if the United States would send American professors in return." It would seem to be Harvard's move...

...planning to hold a series of open meetings in the Union during the latter part of February. Different professors and outside men will try to give undergraduates a more definite idea of what opportunities exist in each of these different fields. It is hoped that these meetings will help the undergraduate to decide upon his life's work and also give him a better idea of the courses which the different schools offer No dates or specific subjects have been decided upon as yet but they will be announced later...
