...exhibition of the Japanese art of Jiujitsu, a method of self-defense, will be given in the Hemenway Gymnasium this afternoon at 4 o'clock by two expert Japanese wrestlers, Y. Yamashita, instructor in Jiujitsu in Tokyo, and H. Koidzumi. The exhibition, open to members of the University, has been made possible through the courtesy of Samuel Hill '79, as whose guests the two wrestlers have come to this country. ...Sargent, director of the Hemenway Gymnasium, will conduct a summer course in physical training beginning July 5 and ending August 6. The course will consist of lectures on anthropometry, applied anatomy, physiology and hygiene, and the theory and practice of physical training. The practical exercises will cover a wide range of subjects, included under free movements, light and heavy gymnastics, track and field athletics, and general developing exercises.
