Pictures for today are "The Philadelphia Story" and "Mayerling," as curious a combination as could be found anywhere. The former is fairly recent and presents Jimmy Stewart and Katherine Hepburn as they put Main-Line society in its place. It is just as funny and good as Hollywood has always claimed. "Mayerling" is a Parisian importation with Charles Boyer and Danielle Darrieux as stars. As can well be imagined, theirs is a great love story, but the best feature of the movie is its superb musical score...
