Appleton Chapel was crowded to its utmost capacity, last evening, by a congregation who came to hear the Rev. Brooke Herford preach. He took as his subject the sacredness of law, and selected the text from the eighteenth verse of Psalm CXIX. He said that the sacredness of law was observable, primarily, in human affairs.
