Robert Frederick Herrick '90, the Chief Marshal for Commencement, was appointed in accordance with the custom that the Marshal shall be chosen from the class which will be celebrating on that day the twenty-fifth anniversary of its graduation. Mr. Herrick has been one of the most conspicuous members of his class ever since it entered college. He was captain of the University crew in his Junior year, and third marshal on Class Day, 1890.
