...real thrills of the trip to New Haven came at noon. The harriers finished their training meal and walked out onto the putting area at New Haven Motor Inn with golf clubs. Erik Roth, John Heyburn, Pottetti, and Seals engaged in a putting contest while Colburn, saving his energy, scored. The boys were really excited and put a whole hour into it.
