...Club and Pierian Sodality. It is a solo for a tenor voice, arranged with piano and violin accompaniment. Mr. Lilienthal, '83, will sing the solo, and Van Raalte, of Boston, will probably play the violin accompaniment. The words are the song of Wabun, the East Wind, from Longfellow's "Hiawatha." Mr. Burton's setting is often strongly suggestive of Wagner, but altogether his treatment is decidedly original. He has shown great taste and judgment in his work, which will undoubtedly meet with a deserved success...
