Many inquiries are circulating about college as to the present condition and future use of the Soldiers' Field, presented to the University by Mr. Higginson. Considerable work has been done in levelling the field, weeding it, and sowing it with grass. A committee has been appointed, of which Mr. Alexander Agassiz is chairman, to raise $50,000 for the buildings which it is proposed to erect.
