What the students were interested in, they got, and they printed it in out old friend The Old Mole: letters about CIA connections, a remarkable letter from Ford to Pusey suggesting ways to circumvent the Faculty's decision on ROTC and intimating some high-level resignations, a letter from Glimp to Pusey casting some doubt on the motivations, of the committee that is negotiating with the Pentagon on ROTC. These letters, claim the men who copied and circulated them, should be the property of the public. They serve as documentation for the Harvard movement's new publication, How Harvard Rules...

...cement pourers have been thwarted on dam projects before, but rarely-if ever-on such ecological and esthetic grounds. What rescued the Red River Gorge was frenzied activity by the Sierra Club and the Audubon Society, an outpouring of statements by Kentucky biologists, and most important, intervention by some high-level Republicans, including Governor Louie Nunn, Senator John Sherman Cooper and President Richard Nixon...

Died. Cameron Hawley, 63, bestselling author, whose four novels were mainly reflections of his 24 years as a businessman; of a heart attack; in Marathon, Fla. Hawley retired from Armstrong Cork Co. in 1951 to write his first novel, Executive Suite, a simplistic look at high-level corporate intrigue, and followed that with two more variations on the same theme (Cash Mc-Call, The Lincoln Lords), all of which made him far wealthier than most of his business colleagues. He suffered a heart attack in 1962, and his recent novel, The Hurricane Years, is a disquieting disquisition on the physiological...
