Overall: Lots of shouting and high-strung emotions in this episode. We’re not quite buying Pam’s reaction, but everything else is pretty funny. Plus, in classic Office fashion, Michael even gets his redeeming moment of humanity when he demands to know why he’s such a bad guy. (Well, it’s not like it seems that difficult to answer…but no, he isn’t that bad. And that’s why we love The Office.) Overall episode rating: Satisfactory...
...services. We understand that paranoid schizophrenic in this week's episode should probably get first priority, but FlyBy believes that the residents might be equally benefited. Therapy made Meredith happy and it's working its magic on Christina and Owen-- perhaps if Lexie was less high-strung, there would be fewer incidents of her tripping, falling, crying, and being covered in donor blood. On second thought, we can't fix everyone at Seattle Grace--FlyBy does need someone to laugh...
...Rogen, in military short hair and a bulky frame that he's since slimmed down, adroitly navigates the course Hill has set for him: a high-strung bully until he's bullied (by the Liotta character) and becomes a figure of sympathy, someone we root for. Not to sound like Michael Savage, but these days every bad attitude is rationalized by being given its own disease. Ronnie, you see, is not a violent jerk...
...it’s gotten a lot better. 6.FM: You were a biology concentrator at Harvard. What was your love life like?AB: My love life as a Harvard student was pretty much non-existent. This is the problem with campuses like Harvard and other very high-achieving, high-strung campuses—it’s that people become devalued. A human being—a friend, a girlfriend, a boyfriend—is number six or seven on the list of extracurriculars, if that. So if people are reading this, one thing I would encourage them...
...until two weeks ago, junior Spencer Vegosen had been unable to compete in tournaments due to a complicated injuries to his core and back. But Vegosen’s second round match with Dartmouth’s Curtis Roby proved to be one of the most high-strung matches of the tournament. Breaking Roby in the first set at 5-5, Vegosen was able to hold his serve and earn himself the first set. Roby struck hard in the second set with a slew of passing shots. But Vegosen rallied back in the final tiebreaker and overwhelmed Roby with...
